SAT
The SAT measures a student’s college readiness and focuses on key skills learned throughout school. Our SAT tutoring helps students strengthen their understanding, practice effectively, and approach test day with confidence.
SAT Sections:
– Reading: Focuses on understanding passages from literature, history, and science while identifying key ideas and supporting evidence.
– Writing and Language: Tests grammar, punctuation, and editing skills by asking students to improve and revise short passages.
– Math: Divided into two parts: one with a calculator and one without, covering algebra, problem-solving, data analysis, and advanced math concepts.
Our tutors guide students through each section with personalized strategies to boost accuracy, pacing, and confidence.
GED
GED Test Sections:
– Mathematical Reasoning: Covers basic arithmetic, algebra, and geometry. Students practice problem-solving, interpreting data, and applying math concepts to real-world scenarios.
– Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA): Focuses on reading comprehension, grammar, and writing. Students learn to analyze passages, identify main ideas, and write clear, organized responses.
– Science: Tests understanding of life science, physical science, and Earth/space science. Emphasis is on interpreting data, analyzing experiments, and drawing conclusions rather than memorizing facts.
– Social Studies: Covers U.S. history, civics, economics, and geography. Students practice reading and analyzing historical documents, graphs, and charts to make evidence-based conclusions.
